A privately owned contract security company, founded in October 2002, headquartered in Crestwood, Illinois.
SecureOne was founded in October 2002 as a privately owned company providing local, regional and nationwide contract security from its local offices. Our company headquarters is on West Midlothian Turnpike in Crestwood, in the south suburbs of Chicago, and we also have offices in Chicago and Naperville. In Illinois we work under DPR License #122000898.
The people who run SecureOne have spent their careers in security. Between them, our corporate managers have more than 250 years of experience on federal, state and private contracts. The group includes a former National Security Director for a Fortune 50 company, now retired, a one-time Vice President at a national security provider, an Army National Guard Captain who commanded Military Police, and Area Managers who came to us from other security agencies.
We do not try to be the least expensive security provider in Illinois. Property and business managers choose us for the attention to detail, the technology and the training behind each officer, and we price our work to match that level of service.
No officer starts an Illinois post cold. Each one learns the site, the post orders and the people to call before the first shift, and our in-house Director of Training keeps the lessons going after orientation with programs written for each industry.
Patrol checks, photos and incident reports go into Vision Insights as the shift happens. GPS Insight logs where each patrol vehicle went and records with in-car 360-degree cameras, and WinTeam handles schedules and invoices.
Our officers come from the military, law enforcement or the security field. We screen for judgment, emotional maturity, pride in the work and a positive attitude, because those traits matter most at 3 a.m.
I get security companies in here all the time trying to sell me their services. I don’t bother because in 8 years with SecureOne I have never had a serious security related incident on my property. They constantly reinforce policies and procedures so nobody drops the ball. Doing exactly what I require is what I need. Thank you to everyone involved.

Your officers are always professional, courteous and punctual. The field supervisor stops by several times a week. No complaints from me which is a good thing.
